LIZ'S MOM UPDATE

I just talked to Liz and she asked me to let you know her mom is going in for surgery as soon as they finish blood transfusion. She has blood between her brain and scull. They don't know why but its not good of course. She also has a touch of pneumonia.
Liz wants to thank all the streakers for their thoughts and prayers. I read them to her since she has no puter. It made her cry I could hear it in her voice. She said she was so lucky to have friends that come together so fast even though just about everybody here has had or has some kind of lifes pitfalls.. Her sister also gave her a hug. Sometimes this is what it takes. Sad but true.. Will update when I hear back from her. Thanks streakers moslow.

I wanna thank all of you, in this thread as well as the other!!

Taz, H00ters, I sent you both a note!

This is the deal right now. I'm back at my Mom's so I can get a few hours sleep. To have the support from you guys as well as my life long friend Laura, who came to the hospital and my daughter. I asked my sister if we could not play any blame game. She was the most humble I've ever seen her. Thank God. And my Mom had both her daughters!!! It's been really tough before today!

And thanks for posting MoJj!! Virginia is still on a vent, and not responding, she's breathing with the vent, but hasn't opened her eyes yet. They have to get the blood out of her skull. She must have hit her head on one of her bedside tables, I'm in the next room and didn't hear her fall. She's in bad shape guys!!!

They are giving her plasma to flush the cumadin out of her and get her blood to a safe level before the operation. I think she had 8 bags- so far. I'm going to crash, but wanted to sincerly thank all of you and let you know the happs.

You guys are very dear to me, and you put up with me too, even when I spazz out, and ya tell me the truth!!

I intend to print this out for Virginia- thanks everyone!!!!!!

This is where we're at as of 1:00 am. The surgeon said the operation went well, and if she didn't start bleeding within 6 hr. then she should be home free, regarding her head. Well, she made it through!

She's still unresponisve, eyes shut. The Dr. never sent a copy of her last CT scan, but I thought.... no news was good news!!!

Please keep vibing and sending good thoughts her way! She is still critical. She did respond when the nurse opened her eyes and shone the flashlight. And she feels, cause I was "playing with her feet" and she would move them around a bit.

My brother went
to see her before work this morning and I know my sister wil be there in the afternoon. I may go see her tonight. Anyway- I'm so tired, and I CAN'T afforde to get sick!!!



I hope my tyiping isn't too hard to get through, like I said, I'm getting ready to crahl and

Good to hear she came thru ok, Liz! Still thing of y'all and praying that Mom has a speedy recovery and most of all that you and your Sis sustain your relationship thru these tough times.

Keep your chin up and take care of yourself too! (I'm gonna play mom for just a minute!)

Don't forget to eat and take your meds and get as much rest as you can. You won't do anyone any good if you fall ill too.

Thanks M.P.- you are totally right!!! Thats why I slept today, played with paint and didn't leave her house. My Brother and my sister were with my Mom and I'll be there during the week while my sisters working!!

Liz I am so sorry I have not been around much during this, I have been approved for a house loan after yrs of dragging my azz out of debt so I have been on the hunt for a house and doing the Mommie stuff at the same time so I have been really short on time but I am thinking of you and mom and praying for you all.
