Intertops Freeroll

Well, another freeroll has come and gone........... at least for me anyway. (Spent $4) I know I have a whole month before the next one, but, I am not sure I want to play it.

Sure, I have a good time when I get seated with precious_woman or Judy or some of the other regulars. At least we do talk a bit.

Tonights' was pretty cut throat......... no chatter, no, "nice hands". No nothing. People playing I never heard of. Not friendly, just out for the win. I know we would all like to win, but, do we have to be asses about it?

I know you want the tourney to be a success and that takes players. We just need a different "breed" of players.

So, for now, I just might bow out of next months.

No sorcer3ss, you don't get to pick your table. Weesie, you should have been at my table. Some ******* joined the forum today, entered the game and lost almost right away. Then he proceeded to call me all sorts of names and was as rude as I had ever seen. I came back here, found his forum name and banned him permanently from the forum. I hate that a few bad eggs spoil things for everyone else. For once I am not looking forward to another game myself.

Sorry to hear that that kind of thing went on at all. Guess I was lucky. Was on a table with some chatters. Lot's of nh.. gg .. ty.. etc. Not a bad experience at all where I was at. I didn't watch any other tables though. Hope you got rid of the worst offender and we won't see that going on any more.

I banned him from the forum (he joined today just to get the password) and hopefully he doesnt have friends that will send him the password. It just makes things so unpleasant for others. I just can't see it with a freeroll?!

99.9% of the players are great and I appreciate that. It just takes one bad apple.......................

I like to try and enjoy a game (while trying to win too) It was just "off" last night. I don't know, maybe, I just "felt" that way and it was not that bad............ Who knows?

Judy, you want to make members have a "posting" minimum (to play) or put a poker "edicate" list on the tourney thread?? lol!

There are always some idiots at these Freerolls. They are not Streak members as Judy said and they come just to get the password. They dont seem to understand that we do this for our members, so they can all get together have some fun with friends and maybe win a little money. Its not done like those other poker tournaments where everyone is out for each others blood. That is why it is a PRIVATE password protected tournament but unfortunately some strays will always find there way there!! ​

Oh weesie!! I am so sorry you had such a jerk at your table!! Please don't let one bad egg spoil the dozen!! I enjoy the monthly Freerolls and the company of my Streak family members. Whenever I have someone like that at my table, I make sure I write down the Intertops table user name and I send a PM to Judy. IF they are there to harrass people then she did the absolute correct thing by banning them!

Maybe it IS time we implemented a minimum number of posts needed to be able to enter the private Freerolls. I know all the other forums do that!! I understand that we welcome any and all players to the forum , but when they start abusing forum members for absolutely no reason then I think it would be reasonable to require them to be active here for a little bit, that's usually enough time for us to see what they are like and if they truly want to play for fun or if they are just a card shark trying to take advantage of Streaks generosity to thier own forum members!! (it makes sense to me anyway!)


I myself was knocked out right away. Usually I last longer than that!!! But, I was so used to those newbie's dong the "all in" bluff, I had a great hand... but unfortunately the other players hand was better!

I was playing at the casino with a freebie and I hadn't met my playthrough yet so I didnt bother with any re-buys or add-on's. Last time I placed in the top ten without one re-buy or add on, which is rare!
