Another Thing BOA failed to mention to everyone a couple years back is that you could no longer "Float" a personal check. What i mean by this say, you knew your direct payroll deposit would be in the next day, and say you needed soem gas and cigs, but had no money in the bank, but you knew, that it would take at least 48 hours for a store to be able to deposit the check and affect your account. You used to be able to do this and get by with it everytime,
then all of a sudden, we started getting all of these overdraft fee's and couldn't figure out how it was possible.
BOA failed to mention to anyone that from then on, they would retroact the checks to the day they were written. So, that meant if you knew you got paid on the second, and wrote a check on the 1st with no money in the bank trying to float the check, say the check didn't come in for like 5 days after you wrote it, instead of the check being credited to the account the day it came in, they would go back to the day you wrote it, and it would bounce, but not only would that bounce, but usually caused many other things to bounce along with it.
One week, i had 9 overdrafts and the fees alone took my whole paycheck for the week as well, so just know you are not alone with the BOA BS.
