Before I write out what happened, let me say that I have all the utmost respect for iNetBet, but am very disappointed in them right now due to issues with Netspend deposits and their nonattempts to help me in follow up emails.
First, I was "hooked up" to use Netspend as an alternative depositing method by iNetBet to begin with, which makes this so much more frustrating. I've been using this method for about a year with little problems. Then, two days ago, a few things happened which give me pause and make me curse.
I attempted to make a deposit to iNetBet on June 29th after redeeming a deposit match bonus coupon. My attempt was decline in the casino software. When I checked my Nespend account, it showed as going through. I contacted iNetBet with an image of the transaction history for this asking them to credit my account. I got back an email from support with a crazy story that since it didn't appear in my account history or anywhere in their records, I needed to contact Netspend, telling them of their mistake and ask them for a refund. I called Netspend and they basically told me I had to contact iNetBet to get it back or fax a dispute. Meanwhile, I filled out the email support form from Netspend about this. So, after getting the runaround with Netspend, I emailed iNetBet again "begging for help" and got a "patronizing email" telling me that it takes a few days for these kind of transactions to show, etc. Bull! My deposits have ALWAYS been instant untikl this one. So, I figured I lost this first deposit (of $20 plus the $1 transaction fee). But, when I checked my Netspend account the next morning, miraculously I had the money back in Netspend. At that point, I deposited again at iNetBet and it went through with no problem. That was THAT resolution and I thought, put it behind me cos it was probably due to a glitch.
Well, tonight, after claiming the 100% Canada Day match deposit bonus, I used Netspend again. And, the same damn thing happened. It got declined in the casino software (no indication of this once you back out of iNetBet in the cashier history) and it showed pending payment in Netspend this time. I called Netspend and they said that it looked like it was for "construction supplies". I said, no, it was for iNetBet. I have nothing to hide since iNetBet was the merchant who hooked me up with Netspend anyway. So, they reviewed my account and told me that due to it being a "gambling transaction" it won't be released for 7 days. I won't go into my discussion with them about how ridiculous this was and Bull and crap and such and said since the casino didn't show it in their records I wanted an IMMEDIATE refund. They told me "No". The casino, according to Netspend, has up to 7 days to collect. I said they would have no record of it, right? And, Netspend said that's true, but I still had to wait up to 7 days for it to be automatically released to the merchant.
What crap. What horsepoop. So I emailed the manager at iNetBet (again) with yet another gif image and discussing this with them. I am really hoping they can resolve this and/or also put a stop to Netspend as a payment method. I'll update as soon as I get more info. Meanwhile, I'm out a bonus deposit and have to wait to get my money refunded when "I did nothing wrong."
Also, to top this off, I can no longer deposit to my QuickTender account using either of my Visa Debit cards, which sucks too. So, I may be out of the gambling circuit soon.
