I'm off for the night, wanted to see who's coming up. Anyone remember the 80's band The English Beat/ General Public?

I haven't seen Dave Wakeling in a few years and thought what the hell. 20 bucks 20 min. drive. I'm going to the gig. Going to DANCE DANCE DANCE and listen to some GREAT LIVE SKA MUSIC!!

I'll let ya know about it later. I usually have some kinda adventure, lol- I thought of calling a friend or my daughter, but decided to go solo. So, I'm off to put on my dancing dress!

When The band and Dave Wakeling came on- I said "DAVE- GOOD TO SEE YOU THANKS FOR PLAYING. He says my pleasure love" People around me were cracking up. I said "would you sign a shirt? He said Now? or after the show? LOL!!

The band was in fine form!! I danced for over 2 hours. They played alll thier old hits- Mirror in the Bathroom, I confess, Tenderness and more.

I got a shirt for my daughter after the gig. Walked backstage, opened the door. Dave looks up- I said HI! It's been a while, would you mind signing this for my daughter Victoria? "No worries Love!

I was drenched with sweat, it was a blast and good work out too! drumroll
