I need some info on New Years free chip issue.

Guys, I love to play at Inetbet and I deposit there when I can. So when they gave us the Christmas free chip and the New years free chip I played them.... I made the playthrough on the New Years free chip, my balance was automatically reduced to the max cashout of $50. Since QT is no longer available, I attempted to use my C2P acct, but it was rejected and put back into my account (I think because I am a US player). I also tried to make my first withdrawal to MPL, which also wouldn't go thru (I think because I have NEVER used it) I tried many times.... So here I was with a balance that I literally could NOT withdraw!!! I went and played tournaments, after a week of trying to withdraw my $50 balance I was then told by Inetbet support that

"I have just looked at your account and you have claimed a free chip and you have used these funds to play Tournaments.I am sorry but that is not allowed, so you cannot request any withdrawal at this time."

So I sent them a screen shot which showed that I did NOT play any tournaments UNTIL I met the playthrough and until my withdrawal request was put back in my account! So I THOUGHT that this was my money to play with and I entered some tournaments. I recieved this reply

It matters not that wagering had been met on the coupon - the funds were still from a free chip
As per the rules tournaments can only be entered with deposited funds - not from a free chip or accrued from a free chip

Am I missing something here?? We are given free chips that we cant withdraw even IF we meet the wagering requirements!! And since when can we NOT play tournaments with winnings from a free chip?? I appreciate the free chips, however ... its hard enough to build a balance with a free $5 chip... let alone make the playthrough. But to NOT be able to withdraw the max cashout so I could redeposit that amount and have no restrictions! I ended up having to ask them to zero out my balance!! It was USELESS. Seriously!! I couldn't build my balance... I couldn't withdraw my balance AND I couldn't use my balance to play the tournaments!! That makes it useless!
I have always been grateful for free chips... but now I wonder why they even bother to give them to us if we can't use the winnings.!!

I need some input...did you guys know that your balance from a free chip AFTER the playthrough could NOT be used to play tournaments? What methods are you using to withdraw under $200 because the only way to wire is a minimum of $200!
I appreciate any and all input. and I am not sure if I posted this in the right area, so it can be moved if it's in the wrong spot. Thanks in advance!

Boy, I feel for you precious woman.

I use free chips to try to increase my wagering points. That's about the only good they are as far as I am concerned.

Of course, now that the CWC group has lowered their withdrawal minimums for some types of withdrawals, I may change that theory.

But, then too, the wagering requirements get in the way. I can see the casinos expecting you to wager a decent amount but, 30 times??, 60 times?? It's getting ridiculous.

Thanks weesie! (our "thanks" button is gone!)... Its good to hear about CWC & that they lowered the withdrawal minimum. It was SO disappointing because I played with the freebie for weeks!! and I made sure that I didn't play any tourneys until the WR were met AND the withdrawal was reversed (not by me!). Inetbet has ALWAYS been one of my favorites because they looked out for the best interest of the player!! I was shocked to learn that my balance was useless! I had to have them zero it out because it was useless!
I guess your right. only use the freebie's to increase comp points.

Thats alot of the reason i stopped playing at Inetbet also because it was getting more difficult to deposit with them. But i completely understand where you are coming from. I think if there is almost no way of being able to withdrawal from these free chips, the least they could do is let it be used as if it was a deposit. I only play at Club World and Intertops any more. Club World lowered their wire amount to $100 so thats good, at least we can withdrawal from freechips there pretty much without having to show our ass to support and the manager about it.

Last time i got a $22 free chip from Club World and support told me i could only withdrawal using thte new ewallet options. I don't like the T&C's of either of them and told them that and i do not trust tthem. Support told me that was the only way. I wrote a nice long email stating my concern to management there that they were the ones to give me the freebie, i didn't see why i couldn't get a check for my winnings. Management sent me a reply stating they would send me a check less the freechip amount + $25 check fee. I received a check for like $176 from them.

There is nothing we can do about any in house casino free chip offers, what I can suggest is you read the rules before taking any free chips as we have always suggested players do. If you know there is no way you can cashout then do not take it is all I can suggest, they offer this chip all over the world & non US players can cash out so if it were me I would never take the chip.

I can suggest you play in our contest where I personally have made sure the prizes are large enough to allow a cash out on the winnings...

Yes, I feel your pain also. I won on that New Years chip also but after reading they would not cut a check for less than $100 I just said oh well no use of going through changes with them, so I kept playing. Then I won $100 with CW and I thought I to get up to $350, but now they are saying $100 and that is with P2C and with what another member just went through with that was a whirlwind also. So didn't withdraw that either. So I am getting to where I don't even want to play anymore, with or without a free chip. Anyway, maybe I will get the enthusiasm to play back, who knows, or maybe I will wait until everything is regulated, hopefully this year! I love playing just don't like the changes we have to go through.

I know there is nothing Streak Gaming can do about the in house free chip.... I posted the thread mostly because I was so shocked that I had NO way of withdrawing the max cashout of $50 and to top that off, I wasn't allowed to use the balance AFTER WR to play in the tournaments! What hurt most was having to zero out my account because the money in it was useless. I also wanted to get some of the moderators and other members input on the issue.
Personally I think it's hard enough to try to win, meet the WR AND still have a balance off a $5 free chip!! It just plain sucks that they have NO option for us US players for that amount. Maybe they should either increase the Max cashout of the $5 freebies, or increase the amount of the freebie so that the max cashout IS possible for US players..........just a thought!

I agree with you that is why I made it a rule that any free chips we give out will be large enough so players can actually win on them I feel your pain
