How was your weekend??

I hope everyone had a good time!

I came home late Friday nite. Yesterday Cubensis played a free gig at the lighthouse cafe in Hermosa Beach. The band was SMOKIN'!! I danced for 4 hr's was soaking wet, but what fun to see old friends, make a new one and listen to Grateful Dead tunes done SO WELL that Jerry G. would be PROUD!!

But---

Time is short and it's time to go back and help my MoM. I'm going to start hardcore interviewing people this coming week. Looking for somone to sleep over 3 nights, so we can all get a break. We're lucky, she's lucky she has her home, that will pay for her care.

Man, I would LOVE to stay here for a few days. I miss my little studio sa****uary and all the spots I could walk to. My cancer support group, meetings, cool video shop, good eats and just my own time. That sounds selfish- I post it here to get it out. I can go back with an upbeat 'tude' cause she misses me to the MAX when I'm gone. << right there-- nothing more important!!

How are you feeling-is the cancer still in remission?

I feel alright. It's not in remission. Just no cell changes as of last check. So the lymphomia sits in wait. Dr. Mena won't start chemo until there is a change. Doesn't want me chemo sick and says it could set me up for lukiemia- some how.

We never know. EVER!! Who'd have thought it would have returned after 15? yrs. free?? It's been back for about 3 yrs. now.
