I have been working on mine for about 3 weeks now
and finally got everything planted, seeded and fixed up the way I want it, lol

I love my garden, I cant think of too many things I would rather do then go out
and work in it. I'll have to post some pic in a month or two.

does anyone else put a garden in? and what do you plant? I have tomatoes, 4 diff. kinds of peppers,
peas, beans, squash, cucumbers, onions, cilantro, chives and I planted asparagus last year that
should produce this year!! I'm so excited!!

No garden for me any more. I can not do the work involved. When my kids were little I always had a giant garden that took up the whole backyard. I would can everything. I loved it!

my mom is really big into gardening. she will go outside and work in the yard EVERY single day, lol. she gave me a couple tomato plants last year and i had my first attempt at it. they got huge and produced some nice tomatoes but i couldn't keep the dang animals off of them! every morning i would go out to water them something had knocked off one or two more tomatoes and they were half eaten! it was pretty frustrating so i don't know if i'm going to try again this year or not. i would love to eventually have a nice size garden though if i could keep the animals away :think

It is a lot of hard work for a garden, but the results are so worth it. Nothing is better than fresh from the garden tomatoes, or ears of corn or just about any vegetable you can grow!

I got too busy with life and didnt have one for a long time, now I have
time again. the last few years, I have put landscaping plastic down and cut
out rows and places for plants. works great!! and cuts the weeding down to about nothing.

a fence is always nice to have around a garden, but I figure i grow enough stuff i can share with
the animals, but rabbits get pretty greedy, lol
