My son got off work the other night and his wife and the two kids decided to go through a local drive through for their dinner since it was getting late. There were two cars in front of them but the wait was not long.

They made their order and when they pulled up to pay, the were informed that the first car had paid for themselves and the second car in line. So the 2nd car in line was so pleased they paid for my sons familys order. Since there was no one in line behind my son at the time, they just gave the person at the drive through $10 to put towards the next persons bill that came through.

I thought that was one of the nicer things I had heard for quite a while. How nice to see there are people out there with the wonderful Holiday spirit!

That is awesome!!! I started doing that at our family dollar store. Do it 2x a year. Started that after I watched an episode on Oprah! It's a dual feeling...I feel great and the other's are speechless ususally! :lol

I have actually done this myself. I was feeling generous, and went through Dairy Queen drive through with my family, and just came up with that idea, and paid for the person behind me's order. Its an awesome feeling being able to give when you can. I could only imagine their thoughts and faces, hehe

Just liek to think they eventually "Paid it forward".

How neat. I was at the dollar store about a year ago and the lady in front of us paid for our things. My girls and I were shocked. It was about 40.00. She had me crying in the store I was so touched. Most of the time people are so grumpy and then you run into somebody like that and it really makes your day.
