So I went to Mt. Airy Lodge in Pennsylvania today on a bus trip my niece was giving. My young gambler cousin came along as well. I was reluctant to go but felt obligated. :free
Well, I get there and I am totally bored, looking at my watch
because I'm so preferring the online action to the land casinos, which I haven't been to in a long while. As it happens when you don't give a crap, I start hitting like crazy, and I end up winning about $1500! 
Then, I'm on the hunt for my young cousin, as we went our separate ways in the small casino. I wanted to share my good fortune with him and give him some dough if he was down.
oor Well that jinxed it! I gave him $100 and he came back, I lie to you not, ten minutes later! And had lost every cent! 
Later I found out that in his fevered gambling state he went on a machine that charged $11.25 as the maximum bet! When I found out he played the max I wanted to smack him.
I played $20 on the machine, at his urging, and lost it. After that I lost about $400 more with him by my side, and me now "gambling for real." 
Thank goodness this was towards the end so I ended up leaving with $1000. But my cousin was so ticked at himself for winning and losing a good amount, I could no longer enjoy my win as much. I felt so bad for him. I don't think I will ever gamble with a friend or fellow gambler again.
P.S. JudyB will appreciate this: The casino refused to give me the $35 voucher you get back for the trip because they would not accept my I.D.. Once again I don't have a Drivers' License and my Alien Registration card just wouldn't do. I have to get a NON Driver's License already, this is getting ridiculous. But heh, heh I got my revenge on them and left with a good bit of their money!
