How fortunate for Jefferson county

I am a cancer survivor living on a limited income and have had a run of bad luck to say the least.
I had to have ½ of my RT lung removed and then chemo and radiation treatments which I finished in May of 2006. My Dr’s are from Port Angeles to Seattle and every place in between. (I Love them all) A couple months after that I had to have my rt. pinky finger amputated. I still have several Dr, visits a month and the closest is 20 mile round trip the farthest 100 mile round trip., My car broke a timeing belt and it took me a month or so to fix it because of health and monies.
Well I had about 50 miles on it and a Deer jumped in front of me and of course at 50 miles an hour it put my car and the deer out of commission. I was at a loss of what I was going to do. I needed a hood, fender radiator, grill, headlight and fixture and various other parts which I could not afford nor do the work myself. Food was running low not being able to get to the food bank for sometime. Also I had just received a call from my Dr. in Seattle that the cancer was possibly back but won’t know for sure till mid December after P.E.T scan. I was at the end of my rope with no way back up, At least I thought so until I spoke with Jim (Kiwi) Farris and he contacted Tony at A & G auto in Hadlock. Tony had his tow truck at my house the next day and I had my car back 2 days later all fixed. Edensaw Cancer Foundation was going to pay the bill but Tony wouldn’t take a dime. Jim then sent me a gift card for gas and food. I was speechless and thankful.
Jim and Tony and all that have donated to the Edensaw Cancer foundation I want you to know that you’ve Touched So Many Lives with Your Care. Some people just know how to give from the heart—yet somehow, aren’t even aware of how selfless, how thoughtful, how needed they are and how many the lives that they have touched.
Those people will always be special—and will always mean so very much to me.
Hope you know what special people you are and how much you’re appreciated
For all the caring things you do.
Words can’t possibly express the appreciation that your quiet compassion and special concern
Bring each and every day to people like myself.

Thank you all so very much!!!! Jamie Johnson

jamie if you get in a bind again I can help with a little food...My hubby works at nalleys and I can get soups, stews, and chili for a real good price. You prob cross the narrows bridge to get to any docs in the tacoma area, I work 1 block off hwy 16 and would be easy to meet. don't be afraid to ask, as a cancer survivor myself I know how tough it can be. Hope your news is good news and all goes well.
