HELP MY PC'S GONE BONKERS

Ok gang i ran spybot and it locked up when i got things back up anything that has an image is gone and replaced by a box with a square/box/circle in it ................what can I do and remember your talking to someone who's not a pc wizard.........anything would help..............love duckey

Duckey can you get to microsoft updates or your anti virus for updates?? If not you have been confickered.. If you can and you can run virus scan and come up clean you can try system restore to just before this happened. What version of windows are you running?? PM me so I get it in e-mail and will get back to you quicker.. mos...
You can check to see if u have conficker by going to www.bdtools.net and run scan and get fix for this virus if needed

Sorry to hear that you are having problems duckey, I know exactly how you feel I must have picked up a virus the other day cos mine went crazy, after 2 days I decided that I better format and i have been trying to instal everything back ever since, think I have had 6 hours sleep in the last 2 nights and am so exhausted and if I could swear in here I most certainly would I am just so angry at all the work it has caused me. My laptop seems to be still running slow and every program I download is different, why oh why do they have to keep changing things. The latest was microsoft office, it was just about unrecognisable and the worst thing is that all the .exe files I backed up of casinos were no good so now I have to do all those from scratch as well. Sorry to vent but I am really am at the end of my tether with it all and am about 2 mins from throwing the laptop across the room.
