Hi friends, Most of you know I have a siamese cat that has never been very nice to anyone
since birth except me once in awhile. My problem is this..She recently started spraying my home!!
YUK! I got a female kitten because I knew males did that but FEMALES too??
She was fixed 5/6 yrs ago and she is 7 now. It is the grossest thing and burns my eyes not
to mention the odor. She is an inside cat and has never been declawed since i read how it is done.
She got out a couple of times and I had to coax and chase her back in. This is Sheba. Absolutely NO ONE
can pet her but me, otherwise they pull back a bloody hand. When she wants to play she pounces and will
wrap around your ankles/feet only when you have socks on or your feet are bare. I have tried playing with her
by using interactive toys but she wants none of that and will growl, hiss and just turn her back to me
and get pissed and run onto her cat walk I had professionally put in for her. I don't know why she is spraying
and I am at my witts end. Her favorite place seems to be the wall furnace. Does anyone have any advice?
Anything please! I love her but the smell and her mean spirit I can not handle. I have a friend who has been visiting
at least once a week for the last 5 yrs who still can't get close to sheba. Anytime she walks by her Sheba will attack
and also does it to Mike (my guy) neighbors who sit at the table and anyone else. Lol I have to lock her in the bedroom when my folks come for Thanksgiving and when the internet guy has to come out or anyone else.
She attacked my 80 yr old neighbor one day and he was just sitting at the table chatting. I know there is no one who could take her and if I took her to a shelter they would put her down. I think she was born missing something
in her brain.

Sorry, nothing from me either. My last cat was male and my husband never let him out so he would shit anywhere but in his litterbox. After my husband passed away I started letting him out and he stopped that nonsense thank goodness. Cat urine is the worst smell and so hard to get rid of too! Good luck!

I have seen this "cat whisperer" guy in action on the TV Show, "My Cat from Hell." He's handled a lot of hostile cat situations and the good news is there's a solution. Yours may need medication or behavior modification.

Here's the link about the show maybe Google him and see if you can write to him directly. Also Google "Cat behavioral problems," I saw tons of info.

Good luck with your kitty and God bless you for your kindness and patience!

Thanks friends for your advice, Letting her out wouldnt be a problem but for her mean ways. I am afraid she will
harm a child. Also ticks and fleas..there is no way I could bathe her unless I wore mid evil gloves lol. I will check out the cat guy and thanks again.

I know what you are going through Redfawn, my cat was terrible until I got him desexed about 2 years ago, now he is so different and the most affectionate cat you could ever get, he got outside the other day by accident and I was nearly beside myself cos I couldn't get him for about 20 mins, and I live on a main road, if he jumped the fence he wouldn't have a hope. I had the same problem with the smell, I checked online and there was something in one particular soap powder - Omo - you probably haven't got that in the states, but that was really good for the spraying, I should imagine you would have something similar.
