Happy Thanksgiving a day early Streakers!! I wanted to stop by and wish you all a wonderful day with your families. I will be busy baking today getting things ready and am so excited, this is my favorite time of the year!!

Just have to tell you, I got a new stove and have been making everything under the sun!! I have turned out to be quite the betty cocker, I mean crocker (you didn't think I would go a whole post without something raunchy did you bwahahaha).

Happy Thanksgiving Streakers! It's been a long time since I've been able to drop by...I miss you all... Hubby is working locally now and things seem to be falling into place. Still crazy busy. Hope all is well with all of you and I'll be popping in a lot more now.

Sounds like we need a huge turkey dinner here at the Streak! I think it's the best of holidays as it's time for friends and family but without the stress of the Christmas season.... and the pies mmm mmmm mmmm mmmm good!

Beaches is doing our pies this year, and the relish tray, I'll stuff and bake the turkey here then carry it over to Mom's for the feast... I love to get up early, put the bird in the oven and go back to bed... waking to that aroma is indescribable!

We also have a tradition of making popcorn balls for Thanksgiving... My Mom knew all her recipes by heart of course - but about 20 years ago I started asking her for specific amounts so we'd have them in future... now they're all written down...

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!!! I will be making the pies later today, just went out to the nut store for the traditional mixed nuts as Mom can't do that anymore.....Labell does make the best dressing/turkey!!!!! It is definitely a family affair at our Mom's house!!!
