2008 Winding To An End
Dec. 29th, 2008 at 1:21 PM
2008 is winding to an end and the changes in online gambling have left many confused and angry US players hoping for a change in the laws in the year to come. Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear's effort to seize domains has been the main issue troubling the US online gamblers this year. Although the courts have not ruled on this case (appeals are still pending), it has still managed to put a damper on the already dispirited American player.
With the election of a new President comes the hope of a new government, and a new chance at regaining our gambling freedom and rights as American citizens. 2009 holds for us, a chance to be allowed to choose where we spend our hard earned dollars and how we choose to spend our private time in our own homes and online.
We look forward to a new year of hope, wisdom and freedom for all no matter where you may live. 2009 can and should be a new start for international goodwill, not only within governments but also within individual relationships. To learn that the world is larger than the small space we each live in is a step in the right direction for world peace. We should not be waiting for "government" to decide who and what we should care about, we should each take it upon ourselves to care about others and to do what we can to help others learn to care.
Let us each look back upon 2008, not as a bad year but a series of lessons to learn from. Take a good luck at the past year and decide what you can do to make 2009 a better year for yourself and others. One person at a time we can make the world a better place for all.
So be sure and check in daily. Come on, what are you waiting for?
The Coffee is always on!
