I do this all the time on the new games, and any games new to me. I play in the free mode, using a "per spin" amount I would actually spend. This gets me used to the way the game feels, what to look for, how much to "expect" to win, etc. Then, when I'm ready to play for real money, I am already very familiar with the game. This is good advice for anyone new to online gaming, if you have the patience to practice a bit first, LOL.
