Fun with webwallets. I know money laundering and fraud make things difficult, liability-wise for Neteller and the like, but honestly accessing my own money should not be this difficult!
Ages ago I sent the ID I have into Neteller to verify my account. As I don't have a current passport or hold a drivers licence I used the 18+ or proof of age card we get issued by the West Australian state Government. They rejected it. I didn't bother to fight it because I have a moneybookers account that works just fine
Anyways, I ended up having to use neteller to deposit into my Redbet account...I was using a Ukash voucher and they don't have that option. Nor does moneybookers. Neteller does so that's what I did. I then won about 10 grand and withdrew 3000 back into Neteller. I tried to get Redbet to relax their 'deposit method in same method out' laundering rules but no, I could not have the withdrawl go to Moneybookers.
My plan was to just transfer it across somehow, either after playing at a more lax casino or some kind of service to be determined. Didn't work out though...I discovered my Neteller account had been locked because the deposit was 'too large' and there was nothing immediate I could do (I was trying to deposit a little amount at my fave casino to play). So I have to just wait by the phone and should hear from a support person in 1-3 hours.
And they'll probably refuse to unblock the account because of my stupid ID! Gah!! Seriously, what is the point in me even having a secure ID and password, it's not like they're any use!! Lol
