The rep will monitor for suspicious activity on-site during games and work with local law enforcement.
After a number of suspensions were handed out for violating its gambling policy, the NFL has chosen to deploy an Integrity
Representative for every team this season.

The six main rules for players in the gambling policy are to never bet on the NFL or any NFL events, have someone bet for you,
gamble in any way at your team facility or stadium, while traveling for a road game, or staying at a team hotel, share team
'inside information,’ enter a sportsbook during the NFL playing season or play daily fantasy football.

The rep, described as a "typically retired FBI or executive level police officer," will monitor for suspicious activity on-site
during games as well as work with local law enforcement, be a resource for the team for gambling issues and support investigations
related to potential gambling or other integrity-related violations.

The gambling policy rules are put into place every year for NFL players, coaches and staff to follow throughout the season.

In-person gambling policy education and training is mandatory for all players in 2024. The education and training,
prepared in collaboration with the NFL Players Association, reviews the rules and reinforces integrity provisions within the policy.

The NFL suspended 10 players last offseason for gambling violations. Denver Broncos defensive end Eyioma Uwazurike,
who received a one-year suspension on July 24, 2023, was the latest player to be reinstated.

Thankfully, no player has been suspended by the league in the past 13 months, and the NFL is seemingly attempting
to make advancements that it hopes will continue this trend.
