Ceks, I'm not nearly so worried about Facebook as I am about Google!! They truly do want to take over the world of information.

I had an acct with Youtube long before Google bought them. I also have a gmail acct., mostly for the storage space where I can forward my email, and filter it. So now, Google insists that I link my Youtube and Gmail accts., and won't let me login without doing that. I don't want to link my accts. It's not their business to make me do so, but they do. So, I don't use my playlist at Youtube anymore cause I refuse to submit to their demands.

Don't forget about Twitter. it's the big thing now, as well.

Yes, I had a Youtube account too and suddenly Google took over and forced me to create a Google account in order to login to my Youtube account...I got pissed...closed my Youtube account but I really wanted to comment Youtube-video so I finally created an Youtube/Google account... I suck!

But atleast Google is useful when searching everything....but blogs, Twitter, Facebook and all that are just crap... Blogs... who gives a sh** about blogs?

And this Facebook...Ive a few friends where I work that have been forced to explain to the boss what they have written on Facebook...none have been fired but anyway. And I often reads in he news about people getting fired cause of what they have been sharing on Facebook.
And when you apply for a job the company check you on Facebook...who will get the job, the one with alot of party/drinking photos or the other one with familyphotos or like that?
One boss interviewed said she would not hire a person that did not have Facebook cause is probably is somethign suspicious about that person... And people say you should stand for everything you share on Facebook and so on...sure but why dont they write in their CV´s how they like to drink and gamble on their freetime, that will get them the job for sure!...or not.

Long time ago I tried sign up on Facebook with a false name and my old email I never use anymore...instantly it scanned my MSN connected to that old email and all my old friends/contact popped up on the Facebook page telling me, these people may be a friend of mine...very scary!! I tried to close my account but didnt know how to do it so I just never logged in again....but one friend emailed me on my email I use now and asking me if I was that person with the false name meaning all those people on my old MSN list have got a notification on that Ive signed up... Facebook my a**!

the free advertisement for them is what really bugs me ceks. even if they give a couple peeps a few bucks, they are making out so well. between the personal recommendation, and the coverage...it makes my skin crawl.
especially when they are doing a contest for $5. or something to that effect.
