Thank you for the warning. Another thing I've become increasingly alarmed about is the cheap CANDY being imported from China. The dollar stores are full of this stuff - if it's made there I put it back immediately. No sense taking a chance.

Another sad part is the children making the shoes or clothes in these 3rd world countries will never have the luxury of decent shoes OR clothes.

I was at a kids boutiqe at a mall. Was getting close for a freinds twins. Sooo cute. They boxed them, I paid and than the girl told me they were made in China or Taiwan? I said Ah now <SIGH> she said WHAT??? I said I need a refund please. She was stunned, "I thought you loved the gifts. I told her I could not buy them in good councious.

On a side note; I just spent 10 minutes reading all the links...wondering why I didn't see any "thong" underwear! Didn't dawn on me til after I was done that flip-flops are also called thongs!

u guys crack me up. i personally don't shop walmart,for lots of reasons. unless they are the only place i can get an item in this area, which is rare. i shop kmart. but u got to watch your tags and labels everywhere. flea markets are overrun while non-usa items.
