do you remember what you were doing when the towers fell? i do-- watching the today show, they were showing the 1st hit on the towers. i saw a dot in the distance moving toward the towers, then it hit. I was horrified and helpless that i could do nothing. I cried and I cry remembering. Later i found out the plane headed for cleveland had flown over head. so close. then the heros ended that flight in a Pa. field not far away. no i will never forget... WHAT DO YOU REMEMBER?

Hi casinosally, I will never forget!! I had just dropped my kids off to school and was sitting here having coffee with a friend of mine. My ex husband called me on the phone in panic asking if I was okay. He worked in Manhattan and saw the whole thing. Anyway, it was horrible, i went straight to the school to pick up my kids, I was a wreck and wanted them close to me. The skys all around us were covered in smoke and there were papers flying everyone, and many on our front lawn. We are not in Manhattan but only 20 minutes away so we were very close. It took me a very long time to feel safe again.

911 was such a bad day. This year on 911 I had to attend a very young friends funeral. What a bad day for a funeral after watching the replay on t.v. all day. Yet we will never forget...hold on to your freedom! Many have died for our free America. :proud

I remember like it was yesterday. I had just started a new job, it was my 2nd day on the job. I went to the break room to get some caffeine and the TV in there was going on about how a plane had flown into the towers, and at the time they though it was an accident. I was glued to the TV watching them talk about it when the 2nd plane flew into the building.

It was a call center that I worked at. One of the guys that had been there awhile said that several middle eastern guys that worked there quit showing up almost exactly 1 week earlier. I think people knew it was about to go down, and ran for hiding.

How awful! I remember staring at the tv, mesmerized. The whole time thinking "this can't be real!"
