I'd like to do this to telemarketers too!


Daniel Adler, 61, was arrested in October in Stony Point, N.Y., and charged with assault. Police said Adler had been solicited by a Sears Home Improvement telemarketer and had agreed to an appointment but that when the employee arrived, Adler allegedly punched him in the face. Adler said he had scheduled the appointment only to "advise" Sears, in person, to stop calling him. [WABC-TV (New York City), 10-12-09]

Whoa, that was a little extreme for a phone call. I hate them too but most of them are doing what they have to do earn a living and support their faimilies. Sorry, I don't condone violence ever.

yeah, they are a pain thats for sure.
we have a land line for dsl and we dont even
have a phone plugged into it, all we get are
telemarketers

I get telemarketers on the phone and chat them up about the weather or what kind of dog food they use or what they ate for lunch, anything other than what they called for, by the time I'm done with them they are begging to get off the phone they have quotas you know. I have never had one call back from same agency lol

I allways say I'm busy right now but if you give me your phone # I call you back Lmao....that allways gets them

My friend used to let them get thru their whole speech and then she would say..

"Wait u mean you are trying to sell me something?." They would of course reply .. "Well yes Ma'am we are" to which she would reply.

"Oh THANK GOODNESS.. I thought you were another bill collector"


They would hang up on her

Thats a good one! Let us not forget Though this is all in fun the poor people on the other end are problebly having a very hard time of it or they would not be phone solicitors..

I used to be in the hard selling business!! Long time ago, and I had a training in Portland, Oregon for electronic devices in burglar alarm systems, but we would only call businesses, that's a big difference! lol
