This is our yearly Arts and Crafts festival. It is running this weekend. I live right across the street from the Park so can hear and see it all without leaving my apartment, lol.

Come and Enjoy everything from carnival rides to a parade, food and merriment, free stage entertainment, sports and shopping…just to name a few!
The festival officially opens** on Friday and ends on Sunday evening. Chewelah City Park is a beautiful venue filled with tasty and affordable food booths with picnic area, talented art and craft vendors, exciting carnival rides, talented entertainers, and a comfortable beer garden, centrally located in the shade next to the creek. People get together to visit with new and old friends, enjoy a bite or a cool beverage, listen to or watch the free CenterStage entertainment, or shop till they drop! Buy handcrafted arts & crafts from the artists who actually make them; observe some of the artists creating their masterpieces and chat with them about their work.
Parents enjoy working with their children on projects at the Children's Pavilion, hosted by Chewelah's Arts Guild. People smile and laugh while they tap their toes, dance on the lawn, or sit in the shade while they enjoy the talented entertainer at the free CenterStage open-air theatre in the park. Looking for sports? Enjoy activities at the Chewelah Golf & Country Club, run in the Chataqua Fun Run, watch or play a base ball tournament, or participate in one of the other many community events.
