I deposited $20 at Caribbean Gold yesterday and got lucky on Shaaaark. Decided to invest my winnings by entering the week long Slottery tournament. In the last half hour I hit a winning streak and shot up the standings. At the last minute someone else got first place, but as you can see second is a pretty wonderful win too! The first shot is showing the tourney balance... prize 2 in the second shot shows what I won! woohoo good luck everybody!

lol eisha, still can't calm down. I finally had to leave the house for fear I'd not be able to just watch... winner hit at the last second and had 4000 more than me, so nothing I did would have mattered...

Carey there were 1051 participants in this tournament. I've been playing them steadily for the last six months... it seems to me most pay their fee and play till they zero out. I alternate between starting with high bet and hoping for an immediate hit, and very very low bets to keep me playing tlll I "feel lucky"... many times I rebuy several times - depending on how flush my bankroll is etc... These do not allow continuations - you can only rebuy when you drop below a 10 dollar balance in the tournament... and each time it starts with the same amount of coins. so noone has a huge advantage over anyone else because we all start with the same balance.

yes Gijan from almost all of them in the VIP Plan Rewards Program. Those are English Harbour, Silver Dollar, Slots Galore, Superslots VIP Slots, Millionaire and Caribbean Gold. And the great thing is once your security docs have been submitted to one, you don't have to send them again for the others!

Ok, I do not play tournaments very often. Can someone explain to me what the difference between continues and rebuys is??

Judy..continues means you continue to play with and add onto the balance you have accumulated so far. a rebuy is when you are out of continues and your score is really low and you want to replay the tourney all over again from scratch to get a higher score.​

Great explanation Carey... and in the VIP Slots tournaments no continues exist... for the entry fee everyone starts with the same coins. If you lose and wish to 'rebuy" you pay the entry fee again and get the same coins again.

The microgaming tournaments have continues... where you can pay extra to play longer and add more to your win box.

just to add to that, when you rebur in these vegas tech tournaments you don't get to keep any balance you previously had, like at the micros, but actually to rebuy in the vegas tech tournaments, you have to had gone broke to be able to rebuy or what labell says, you can't have more than a $10 balance when you rebuy. When you rebuy, its like you never played the tournament the 1st time and are starting all over.


On to Labell,

hey, i figured out why i don't play at vegas tech anymore. lol its because i can never hit those bonus rounds and just can't get lucky on winning really anything. I went and played at one of the casinos last night to try that new Shaaark game you talked so highly about, (grant you i played in free mode)i played i know for sure a straight 30 minutes betting $1.25 a spin and never once hit the freespins(i think it was more like 45 minutes but know for sure 30 minutes)

Then i decided to auto play 50 spins, after those spins still no bonus round, did auto play of 100 spins and during those no freespins did another 100 more and finally hit the bonus round after about 50-60 spins.

i played for about 1 hour 15 minutes and spent $400 in play money(not counting all of the little wins i had while spinning) started with a play money balance of about $990 and when i hit the freespins, i had about $585 left betting $1.25/spin! lol

then during the freespins, i won about $25 lol So now i remember why i haven't played at a Vegas Tech casino for ages!

With that said though, the tournaments are probably the best on the net.

Completely agree eisha, very streaky. But when they do start hitting wow they're something. I started playing mostly for the video poker. But have gotten used to the slots and enjoy those too now. Up until the wins on shaaark I really wasn't very lucky on their regular slots. In fact since last night I haven't hit a thing on shaark and it's sucked up what I left to play with! LOL I just can't get enough of the tubing guy yelling SHAAAARK!
