Congrats!! the Yankees clinched it the other night, they didn't have to play the wild card game! We have the best record in baseball once again! But I am NOT bragging....yeah right!!

Wild Card game has nothing to do with skills it's there because there are so many baseball teams! Your team maybe good but the Cards are the World Champs

Umm Wild cards are the teams that came in 2nd place dear. Of course it has to do with skill. Had the Cards been in 1st place they wouldnt have had to play the Wild Card game and risk NOT making it to the playoffs,. The yankees shot straight through to the Playoffs with the best record in baseball...ONCE AGAIN!

How could you even compare the Cards to the Yankees? They are a good team , but come on really.....the Yankess are...... well you know....the YANKEES!!! ​

Yah ok I am humble enough to say you have a good team but that is how us fans are in St Louis... humble..

In Major League Baseball, the wild-card playoff spot is given to the two teams in each league with the best record among the non-division winners. This was implemented after the league expanded to 28 teams and realigned its two leagues to have three divisions. Since a three team playoff would require one team to receive a bye, the wild card was created to field a fourth team.

I don't really care why we are in the play offs fact is we are there! If there was no wild card cool then we would be happy to have been in 2nd place!
Pretty impressive considering we have a brand new coach! Also impressive would be if we could become the World Champs AGAIN this year!

We freakin lost!!! Damn fools had so many opportunities to win, sooooo frustrating!! I was screaming at the tv!! But now we come play last 3 at home stadium so we are good to go!! ​
