Hi,

I know I am new here, but, I need help.

I just joined pogo.com. I payed the monthly fee before I tried to play. I get an error saying I don't have java but I do. I even removed it and re-downloaded it and it still says I don't have it.

I have windows vista, if that's important. I just don't know what else to do other than ask for my 5.99 back.

anyone else have this problem? what did you do to fix it? or is it possible to fix it?

Thank you for any and all help!

Hiya weesie and welcome to The Streak. I found a link for you to look at:

http://forums.techguy.org/windows-vista-7/579091-solved-pogo-com.html

It seems that with Vista, you have to make sure that www.pogo.com is in your allowed list in your pop-up blocker. I don't use Vista on my machine, so I'm not sure how to add allowed sites to your pop-up blocker, but you could probably just "google" the question.

And, once you add it, don't forget to close and relaunch your browser for the setting to take place. I hope this resolves your issue. Let us know.

I found some instructions for accessing your browser's pop-up blocker list:

<TABLE class=numberedListFirst><TBODY><TR class=faqEntryRow><TD class=dropCapQ style="VERTICAL-ALIGN: top; CURSOR: pointer" noWrap align=left> </TD><TD class=faqQuestion onkeypress=this.parentElement.click(); style="VERTICAL-ALIGN: top; CURSOR: pointer" tabIndex=0>How can I choose to allow pop-ups from a specific website?

</TD></TR><TR class=collapse id=eCETD vAlign=top><TD class=dropCapQ noWrap align=right></TD><TD>By default, Internet Explorer displays pop-ups that appear as a result of you clicking a link or button. I have a suggestion... leave Pogo and stick with us here at Streak Gaming.

Just kidding... about leaving Pogo... we of course want you to stick with us at the Streak

Is your java and java console enabled under your settings?

I believe it is under tools, internet options, advanced and then click on custom level... scroll down until you find java and then click enable for it.. be sure to reboot your computer..
Also your cookies may be set too high

And, if all else fails, contact support at pogo.com and they should be able to help you because I'm sure you aren't the first this has happened to. Let us know what happens.
