:think GOT A TELEPHONE CALL THIS AM TELLING ME IT WAS WINDOWS CUSTOMER CARE CENTER AND THEY WERE CALLING TO TELL ME ABOUT A NASTY VIRUS AND WANTED TO HELP PREVENT MY COMPUTER FROM BEING INFECTED. WANTED ME TO GO ONLINE AND GAVE A WEB ADDRESS. I TOLD THE CALLER I DIDN'T HAVE TIME AND I WOULD GO TO WINDOWS UPDATE LATER. SHE HUNG UP ON ME!! ---NOW I SUSPECTED IT WAS A BOGUS CALL WHEN I SAW THE CALLER ID SAID "CALLER UNKNOWN" AND SHE BARELY SPOKE ENGLISH. THEN WHEN SHE HUNG UP SO ABRUPTLY, IT LEFT LITTLE DOUBT. MICROSOFT IS NOT MAKING COLD CALLS TO ITS USERS --PLEASE!!. THAT'S THE USERS JOB!. THE SCARY PART IS - SHE NEW MY NAME AND PHONE #. --- SO BEWARE LADIES AND GENTS- NEW TRICKS ARE ON THE PROWL TO STEAL YOUR PRIVATE INFO!!snoball

I've had that happen to me twice recently, once the other day and I just told them I wasn't interested, the first time they asked me to go to a website and as far as I could tell they were trying to sell me one of their products, but yes it is a worry that they know your details.
