being sick sucks!

Geez i have been sick as a dog these last few days. Had alot of family from out of state here for turkey day and by Sat i was hit hard! I am so thankful i wasnt sick when they were here. Think my sons girlfriend brought it with her..she was sneezing all over the place. Just now starting to feel a lil better. At least i can function some again lol. I wouldnt wish this on my worst enemy. I was so misserable i couldnt sleep from Sat to Monday. It wasnt the flu that i knbow of but it is a very wicked cold in the ears, nose, eyes, chest and face. Want ya to know that alka seltzer plus cold fizz tabs really helped along with a heat bag for the face. So if any of you get this..and i pray ya dont..try the tabs, they are the only thing that worked for me to finally sleep. going back to bedzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Dang, hope you feel better soon red! I avoid being around lots of people just for that reason, lol. I got sick earlier in the month and what started as a mild "cold" landed me in the ER.........

SO sorry Red . I would rather have the flu than a bad cold . Hate having a booger nose that is either clogged up or running off your face . Waking up with a headache . Being at that age where you have to cross your legs when you sneeze sux the big one too!!
My family always keeps their fingers crossed that I will lose my voice for some reason .

Sorry you've been sick Red! I can empathasize... I have a sinus infection and SHOULD have gone to the doctor on Wednesday, but was too busy cooking... what a horrid pain in the head it's been... love my heating pad too!

Thanks friends, ahh labell hon..hope your feeling better fast! This crap is making me nuts. Felt a lil better yesterday and today i am ughhh again. Its in my ears now and the left one crackles when i swallow and the right one is closed and opens off and on painfully. Not much you can do for a cold but wait it out sigh. Now my guy is starting to feel yuck today and it makes me feel just awful giving it to him. He's a service writer so he has to deal with the public..i feel for him. Hope this goes away soon so i can consentrate on taking care of him. Check back later back to bed i go.:niteall

Hey red, I am right there with you.......... my head is so foggy right now, I can't see straight. The top of it feels like someone tried to blow it off. I don't know if it's a head cold or what but, I know what you are going through to a degree.......... It's just awful! Sneezing, watery eyes, stuffy nose..... just yucky!

I have a lung disease and when I get even a little congested or anything it is so hard to breathe. I tend to stay away from large groups and avoid anyone that even coughs or sneezes.

I am sick with that flu junk now and I also have a lung disease so I get sick with that then the real stuff hits, so I always get a double whammy. Have been down for like 3 days now. I can always tell when I start to get the flu though before I get it, it'sweird. Hope you are feeling better by now Redfawn.

So sorry smartone. I know how bad it can be to get sick when you have any other illnesses or diseases you are dealing with. I have Pulmonary Hypertension and avoid sick people like they have the plague, lol.
