Hope its ok to post this here...
Keep a look out for a white card that says court ordered legal notice at the top left corner. Yeah it scared me too lol. BOA is in a lawsuit and will be paying out $410 million to all those who had over draft fees from 2001 til now. It will be devided and by Nov 7 2011. If you payed over draft fees (Like me) You may be eligible for a payment from a class action settlement. Whos included 1) if you had a boa consumer checking/savings account that you could access at anytime with a BOA debit card between Jan 1 2001 and May 24 2011.
2) were charged one or more over draft fees as a result of BOA practice of posting debit card transactions from highest to lowest dollar amount.
How to get a payment..If you are included in the settlement class and entitled to recieve a cash benefit, you do NOT need to do anything to get a payment or account credit. If the court approves the settlement you will automatically get a paymet or a credit to your account. Damn these guys got me good so many times. I still have a checking with them to. I must have paid out a few thousand in over draft fees since 2001. Just wanted you all to know we might have a very merry Christmas!!

Hi Judy hon, thanks. If you ever had an account with them in 2001 and beyond but dont now it is still valad. They would just send a check instead of crediting your bank account.

They have pulled some real shady crap and nailed Phil and I for a ton of fees. Don't know why we still bank with them but it would be nice to get anything back.

Can't say I have received any draft fees from these sharks during this time frame. The simple solution is to keep a months worth of income or expenses in the checking account. Then one does not need worry about running short. It helps that I am 50. Not as many demands on my spending at my age with the house paid off. Four kids all grown up.
