Today, is the day that we celebrate Australia Day. Capt. Arthur Phillip first raised the flag on 26th January 1788, it is our day of national pride and is marked with a Public Holiday, Australia Day Honours and many backyard barbeques. Here is a website if anyone is interested Australia Day
