Aristocrat Technologies have been granted an interactive gaming license from the Nevada Gaming Commission.
Nevada legalized online poker in February 2013 and was the first state to do so within the US.
The decision to grant Aristocrat Games was made by the Nevada Gaming Control Board in a unanimous recommendation.
The Nevada Gaming Commission also used its Thursday meeting to conditionally unanimously award interactive gaming services provider licences to device reputation, identity, location and payment validation platform developers GambleID LLC and Aristotle International LLC.
Aristocrat is now allowed to offer online poker software and technology to Nevada based operators that have been licensed by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
Aristocrat Technologies President Atul Bali said, “This latest news is a very important milestone for two reasons. First, it further validates our aggressive online strategic vision. Second, being licensed to provide our interactive gaming services in Nevada, a state that is leading the online gaming charge in the U.S, puts us in a very strong position for future activity.”
