A WELL NEEDED break!!

I have a week off, from looking after my MoM!! I got home on Friday and have been basking in my "freedom". My Brother, who was pretty much non-existant finally stepped up, took me seriously when I told him I was LOSING it!!

I played poker on Sat. night. A friend of 30 yrs. invited me to the Moose Lodge where they have games a few times a year, even bought me in!!

I'll be back with Virginia on Friday, but every morning/afternoon I wake in my own bed, I thank God!!! And I talk to my sister, my Mom is fine. (even though she misses me to the max!!!) I'm the better cook and have a softer touch!

A little break in care-giving is certainly one that you'll find most refreshing in sooooooooo many ways. (betcha by Thursday; if not Wednesday; you'll be wanting to get back into the swing of things with Your Mom tho! LOL)

It's those NASTY "big kid" changes that I'm dreading!!!

I'm going to listen and dance to live music tomorrow and hopefully Wed. too!

The beautiful, super talented Rhett Miller (the serial lady killer like he sings in one of his tunes) is playing a gig near Melrose! Soaking it up while I can!
