A woman in my neighborhood spotted a little boy who seemed to be on his own. She stopped him just before he tried to runt into the street, he had to be around 4 or 5 years old. She took him to the various stores lining the block trying to find his mother. Finally when she got to the store that I was in, another woman volunteered to stay there with the child until the mother shows looking for him. She didn't want to call the police and get the mom in trouble. I didn't really get that, so I called the police on my own in case the frantic mother had already reported him missing.

The next week I found out that the father eventually showed up to store and was reunited with the boy. The police never showed! God bless those two women who took such an interest in the child and tried to protect the mom.

Today my brother (I have 4!) was working in the subway on the turnstiles, when a young man approached him with an enfeebled old woman. The young man asked my brother to help the old woman as she was trying to get to the Post Office which was located in the underground complex. My brother stopped what he was doing, left his tools and workbag and took the old lady over to the Token Booth and asked for help. The Token Booth Clerk then summoned one of the Rockefeller Center Security Officers to escort the old woman to the Post Office. I'm proud to report another group effort in helping someone out!

Very nice hon. I wish more people would think of handing things down, reusing, recycling and everything else instead of just throwing away. Good luck to you! :hug

A little boy was in our local convienence store and wanted an icream cone but didn't have enough money so I told him to keep his money and I paid for the cone. No big thing.I really enjoy helping others when I can.

One time a few years ago I was in a department store and it was very cold outside. In back of me in line was a woman with a toddler and I noticed her little hands were all red. I asked the mother if she had gloves for the little one and she said no she didn't have enough money to buy her any because she had just enough to get diapers so I purchased a pair and the mother thanked me and cried.

I try to make an effort to do something good for someone everyday.Even the littlest things can make a difference.A simple smile works wonders!

Theres a boy in my daughters class that she plays with during recess..She told me last week that the boy hardly ever has a lunch and just brings a bag of chips sometimes. I've been sending my daughter to school with extra food that she shares with him, so he has something good to eat. I have no idea whats up with his Mom.....He such a nice kid too..

Hi, this week i gave time to a old lady neighbor .

She lives alone and she is 70 !!! I went just pass a time with her she was waiting for me all dress fine and make up on her face she was really happy.

That is not a great act ... BUT if we all do a little bit of attention to our old people neighbor then it should be more fun to them to live older.

When i went back home i feel that she give to me too in her way to live and her appreciation too.

have good day all of you Streakers and Moderators

there is a poem i believe in and live bye.
Have a Heart
Have a Heart that tries to feel what other people feel.Have a heart.A sympathetic word will often heal-the hurt of one who stoops beneath a weight that none will share-with nobody to lend a hand and nobody care.
The world is full of people needing all that you can give.Old folks feeling lonely with a few years to live.Children badley treated. All around you everywhere-are sufferes with trials to face and crosses the must bear.
The need your love. The need your strengt. The need your kindley hands. So have a heart,a heart that feels- a heart that understands.
i do trye to give as much as i can.
i do give cannd good ( i do my self )and eggs to all my neighbors and i dont wondt nothing for it,it makes my happy to see them smile and iff the need sombody to talk to i am right there and trye to lend a helping hand.
i dont no if this count as a random act of kindness.
