When my daughter was married to her first husband (who is TERRIFIED of spiders).....She placed a very large rubber tarantula up inside the spigot of the bathtub, then waited patiently for him to run their daughters bathwater. She had placed it very high in the spigot so it didn't fall out immediately, but he was reaching his hand in to check the water temperatue when it fell out and landed right on his hand. The neighbors then came over to see what was wrong, he had screamed like a woman.

HAHAHA! my boyfriend is terribly afraid of spiders, I'll have to trythat one heeheee When we first moved in together one of his friends had told me how scared of spiders he was and I had some of those plastic halloween ones as big as your thumb, so I positioned them next to the knob on 2 or three doors around the house. I didn't actually get to see when one got him, but his buddy explained that he saw it and apperently it scared him good, his friend really thought it was pretty funny because I guess he had also jumped when he grabbed another one of the doorknobs just a few minutes before seeing my boyfriend hit the ceiling over stumbling into the next one heeheehe but I LOVE that spicket story that's quite a clever idea, and I intend to torment my baby with it heehehee

One halloween, (I was about 12 or 13yrs) me and a girlfriend stuffed a pair of old jeans and a flannel shirt topped with a scraggly-haired laytex mask which really made quite a creepy looking dummy. We (and our dummy) went up a ladder set on the backside of her single level house, scurried over to the frontside where we lurked right above the front door jumping or just letting the dummy go at nearly every poor trick-or treatster as they knocked on or approached the door. That was a fun one we really got some screams.

my roommate and bestfriend years ago used to be so easy to scare.One day I got from work before him and parked on the street in front of our condo so he wouldnt know I was home. when I heard the garage door open I went and hid in his closet. when he opened the closet to hang up his suit jacket I reached out my hand and in a deep vioce said thank you sir. He fell on the floor I scared him so bad. I almost peed my pants laughing.

If I count correctly, that's 19 picks, plus my practical jokes, which follow. (It's okay to post them all together in one post, right?)

1) I went on a double blind date once that my best friend set me up on at TGIFridays. She kept telling me all night that they had a surprise for me, but I thought she was just making it up to try to make me nervous. But then, just before we were about to leave, the entire waitstaff came out clapping and singing Happy Birthday. I was looking around to who the poor slob was, when I realized that they were advancing on me! She had lied to them ahead of time and said it was my birthday! This has now become a regular tradition. She has lied about it being my birthday in over a dozen restaurants now. The worst was at Hooters where they made me stand on a stool and quack like a duck while they sang!

2) Another "friend" (the girl I was meeting on the date mentioned above, actually) once stole a label from my desk at home with my address and phone number on it right before we left. Then when the waiter brought the check, she handed it to him and said, "Hi, my friend here thinks you're really hot and he wants you to have this."

3) The best friend I mentioned in #1 was actually my cousin's girlfriend when I met her. For some strange reason, the two of us decided it would be hilarious to "accidentally" put a fake love letter from her to me in an envelope with a letter from her to my cousin and for me to deliver it to him. He did fall for it, but somehow we were unable to convince him of the humor in the situation... especially when she really dumped him for me a couple months later.

4) Again, this same friend (yes, she embarrasses me a LOT) was playing Bingo with me. She was trying her best to annoy me and finally she started biting off peices of her styrofoam cup and spitting them onto my Bingo card that I was dobbing. But the thing is, I won! And to collect my winnings, I had to hand the floorwalker this card, soaking wet with my friend's spit, to read back the numbers! I was so embarrassed that I almost didn't call it and just gave up the $500... almost.

Those are the ones that stand out in my memory, although I'm sure I'll think of a few others later.

Anyway, I believe that makes 23 picks total, so I'll take:
