For those of you who have never seen the destruction of a tornado (and for those of you that are experiencing this!)

I am so thankful we hardly ever get them here in NY. Although I just heard on the news, one may be headed our way, now thats scary because we are no way equipped to handle any type of tornado!:think

Yesterday I went to get my son at school and a tornado hit near us (about a mile away) as we were walking home. +100km/h gust almost threw him into an oncoming car. Luckily I had a death grip on his hand and yanked him back at the last second. I was shaking like a leaf by the time we got home I was so terrified about what almost happened.

I live in the Valley in Virginia with mountains surrounding us all around, we all used to say if one ever got in the valley, it may never get out, but in actuality, they can travel over mountains.

Anyways, we got tornado warnings at like 2am in the morning last night and it was a little scary. Especially when your county is highlighted and the news is saying, "Take cover Now!"Luckily, the super cell of the storm was on the far side of the county, its still way too close for my comfort.

God bless all of those impacted by the latest storms and much sympathy for what many are going through.
