Yeah, funny how much easier it is to DEPOSIT from the U.S. than to withdraw...
I have recently switched from Wired Plastic to Netspend for my deposits (love how much easier and cheaper it is to load NS at some locations! At Murphy Oil stations, I just hand the cashier my card to swipe, name the deposit amount and pay about $2 with no forms to fill out.) but I assume that Netspend, like WP, will no longer accept international wire transfers. And I personally am not comfortable with sending a wire transfer to my checking account from any site that my bank will not permit deposits to (including all casinos AND Quicktender).
So in order to continue to play, I have had to develop a system for deposits and withdrawals. Basically, I deposit with my Netspend at casinos that I completely trust and that offer a wide variety of withdrawal methods (like Intertops). Then, when I withdraw winnings, I will either request a paper check or I will transfer a portion to my Quicktender account, which I will then use to fund any other casino accounts I wish to use. Then when I cash out from them, I usually just transfer the winnings back to QT and eventually to Intertops because I trust them more than anybody for withdrawals. (I don't even trust paper check withdrawals from most casinos anymore... I recently had one e-mail me that the check they had just mailed me was no good and that I should throw it away and wait for a replacement to arrive.) It's a little convoluted, but it's the safest way I know right now and it allows me the convenience of Netspend and Quicktender without paying the extra fees to fund the QT account.
I really hate it that we U.S. players have to resort to these methods to enjoy our hobby simply because a few politicians felt the need to impose their religion's ideas of morality on everybody through a series of backroom deals and midnight executive orders. But unfortunately, I fear it is only going to get worse in the near future and we must all be aware of the very real possibility that any funds in our gaming accounts could suddenly become unavailable to us at any time.
