It really is hard to quit something that you used to do, just like playing in a casino. You will take a break and try to divert your time to something else then afterwards go back since your bored. Old hobbies die hard.

I just had another reason today to be glad I gave up, the government is talking about putting the price up for a pack of 25 to $40, I would have been smoking $80 a day at that rate!!! huhhwtff

Thats insane!!! Over here a pack of 20 is about $14 bucks and I thought that was crazy expensive! They are more money in NY than anywhere else in the US, and of course its where I live! lol

Well as the saying goes old habits die hard. You can't just easily quit something that you used to do. How many stick per day? And hey every time you smoke you are reducing 7mins of your life, just saying :think

Nicotine helps you to increase your mental abilities but not more than for a 5 min. It happens because the natural level of nicotine in your body is increased after you smoked a cigarette. The trick is that when you are smoking regulary the natural level of nicotine in your body becomes heightened and your body just needs another dope of it from cigarettes because it can't manage to produce such a big quantities itself. That's why you when quiting your are gaining weight. Natural fat in food serves as a substitute for nicotine that your body is not receiving. Although my friend, a doctor, says that this nicotine addiction is purely psycological (this is true to some extent) I believe that it's just a tip if the iceberg. As Mark Twain said: "There is nothing easier than quit smoking. I quitted a thousand times". He never realy quit.:bet

Its pretty much hard to quit what you usually do, i also had a friend who tried to quit smoking but since she is stress from work she started smoking again. She can finished a who packed of cigarette everyday, i just hope that this won't affect her in the future.
