if not what would you do.....I guess it has been long enough for me to share my story....a year or so ago a casino over paid me...I had won $2000.00 and cashed out. when I received my deposit I received 200 thousand in my account. The method of deposit was the same as cash so my bank told me I did not have to give it back, of course they didn't know it was for on line gambling and I didn't tell them.I felt like the money was not mine so I returned it. The bank that deposited the money was from the usa. What would you have done if your bank would have assured you that you did not have to give t back.......

Wow that is a huge amount of money, I would have to give it back if it was me, I hope they gave you a big thank you. Actually earlier today I logged into a micro casino to play a tournament and hadn't been at that one for quite awhile and found $3200 in my account. At first I thought I had logged into the practice account rather than the real account, so logged out and in again and it was still there, it was actually bonus money. I spoke to someone on live chat and they said they would have to investigate and they would lock my account. It made me feel a bit like a criminal lol The only thing I can think of is that I might have won one of the major prizes in a Christmas tourney, anyway hopefully I will hear back and it actually belongs to me.

I would have let the casino know what happened as well. Good karma and also they are bound to be grateful you were so honest! Hmm Anne that is BS if they locked your account as you were honest about it! Send me who it was so I can also help you!

I did take my time to give it some thought, only because I was confused with that much money being misplaced with the circumstances of their processors....I was worried about that much money and that they maybe were laundrying it some how. I actually had it for a month, and was going to call one of you girls to see what I needed to do to return it, as it wasn't mine and I really did not want it because of the problems It would cause me, I too felt like if I kept it I would be stealing it even though my bank assured me I did not have to return it, that I had to give them permission to send it back but I knew it wasn't mine. the casino was very kind and did send me a I-phone and gave me $200.00 to play, I never won anything though....at first I wasn't even sure how to return that much money without some kind of questions I didn't know how to answer....all ended well though....

I can't believe your bank didn't question you about that. I am sure my bank would have been all over that one. I would have returned the money also. Karma always gets you in the end. That was nice they gave you a phone and money.

no my bank didn't question me at all....I have a business account also and they assumed it had to do with my business, that I was just being paid for my product and was over paid....it was very kind of the casino to reward me as it was the banks fault it happened and I'm sure the bank would have been responsible for the loss....that was all to much for me though....

Glad the casino acknowledged your honesty by giving the casino credit and iphone and that you got it through your bank without any problems.

Yes, they just removed it without a word, a bit rude I think, they could have at least let me know they had made a mistake and were going to remove it.

How many times have we found a ticket or a coin on the floor of the subway, street or bus? Watches, mobiles, wallets, jewellery and other valuables pass through the lost and found offices in each place, which means that there are honest citizens. This same example applies to the casino, I think we should all be honest and communicate this to the casino if it happens.
